A native of Athens, GA, Hannah Peterson began playing the flute at age 11.  Hannah earned her Bachelor's degrees in Flute Performance and Music Theory at the University of Georgia. She then completed Master's in both subjects at Southern Methodist University. Hannah loves to perform as both a member of large and chamber ensembles. Her favorite part of being musician is the people she gets to collaborate with, and jumps at any opportunity to share music with her community. Hannah is also passionate about sharing her love of music with students of all ages and loves to teach both flute and  Music Theory.
